FOLLOW UP VISITS ON THE REPAIRS OF WATER LINE THAT STRETCHES FROM RIVERTON RESERVOIR TO KIMBERLEY.
A few weeks ago we visited the plant where construction is taking place to upgrade the Riverton water reservoir to respond and supply clean water to residents of Kimberley, the project is continuing and we are monitoring the progress closely as to make sure quality work is delivered and clean water is supplied adequately to residents.
Today we made a follow up routine check on the status of the 900MM pipe that links from Riverton towards Newton, where an upgrade is also expected to commence. The purpose is to make sure we address all the existing leaks to ensure supply of water is completely clean for consumption.
We took time to visit the WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT in Homevale part of the exercise was to make sure that we address workers issues and make sure their working environment is safe and monitor their continuous safety compliance when conducting their daily duties. Their working conditions matters most and we will ensure we adhere and provide the necessary support at all material times.
Our plight remains serving the people and delivering quality services to our people.
Working together we can do more.
