3. Renewal of Drivers Licences
4. Applications for Professional Driving Permits (PRDP)

UPDATE 14/05/2015 from Stoffel Uys:
Although the previous notice stated that licensing services are temporarily unavailable, applicants can apply for their Learners Licence, HOWEVER, other licencing services are still unavailable.
Applicants wishing to apply for their Learners Licence will to have their eyes tested at a optometrist beforehand.
Unfortunately persons that have received a summons for expired PDP’s will have to file for an appeal or set their case in court.
UPDATE from Stoffel Uys:
Date unknown when applications for driving licences, PDP and appointments for learner licences reopen. In the case of a driver’s licence expired or is about to expire, an application for a temporary licence can be made. Since eye tests can not be done at the registration office, the eye test must be done at an optometrist beforehand.
Requirements for a Temporary Driving licence: Two (2) Black and White ID photos, ID book and current driving licence. Cost for temporary license is R 57.00 and is valid for 6 months.
