GALESHEWE POWER OUTAGE: BLIKKIESDORP, BLOEMANDA AND REDIRILE (STOCK & STOCK)
》Excavation to be done. Broken cable located at 2nd Street in Homevale in the vicinity of H.A Morris Substation. The line is linked to the Witdam Substation in Galeshewe which in turn supplies power to the affected residential areas.
Our electrical team will work around the clock in ensuring power is restored tonight.

POWER OUTAGES IN SOME PARTS OF KIMBERLEY
》South Ridge: Repair work still in progress. Half of the area still affected by an outage. Eight mini-substations were worked on in the area (one experienced an explosion) and two more faults were located on an 11 000 volt cable.
In Galeshewe (Witdam Substation) – Bloemanda, Redirile and Blikkiesdorp; broken cable being repaired.
Electrical Department is responding to a large number of individual household faults and those of businesses in Kimdustria.
We are appealing to the public to bear with us. Our teams are on the ground and working around the clock to restore power supply in the wake of the storm that lashed Kimberley on Sunday and yesterday’s heavy downpour.

POWER OUTAGES IN LARGE PARTS OF GALESHEWE
》The Sol Plaatje Municipality’s electricians will be undertaking an assessment to determine nature of cable faults between Witdam and H.A. Morris substations amid a power outage.
The affected areas are – Bloemanda, Katima Molelo, Redirile (Stock n Stock), John Daka and Sevendelaan. Power lines are also to be assessed for affected households in Seleke, Magashula and Matanzima Streets.

POWER OUTAGES IN A NUMBER OF AREAS
》The Sol Plaatje Municipality’s electricians are responding to a series of power outages this morning. The listed affected areas; half of Southridge and Kimdustria (both an 11000 volt cable fault) / In the CBD – parts of Phakamile Mabija Road and area around Boston College / Roodepan – Sunset Manor / Galeshewe – parts of Retswelele, Newtown/Number 2.
A number of single house calls have also been received following yesterday’s heavy downpour.
