⚠️ALERT: PUMPS AT NEWTON RESERVOIRS OFF DUE TO CABLE FAULT
Water Supply Impact: Water supply to Kimberley’s suburbs will be affected due to pumps at the Newton Reservoirs being switched off following damage to a power cable.
A contractor accidentally damaged a cable at the Reservoir, resulting in a power failure.
The Electrical Department has been notified, and repair work is underway.
Expected Impact: Low water pressure to no water in high-lying areas.
We regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate residents’ patience while repairs are completed.
