Stolen truck recovered in Kimberley

KIMBERLEY NORTHERN CAPE – Members of the Northern Cape Provincial Search and Rescue Unit, were performing crime prevention patrols in Kimberley this morning (Saturday, 13 March 2019) when they received information about a stolen Isuzu truck.

The truck was found abandoned in the open field near Riviera Spar along Smidtsdrift road. The truck’s battery was removed and left front wheel damaged. The truck was reportedly stolen in Galeshewe. An intensive search for the suspect/s has been launched.

The Acting Station Commander of Kimberley, Col Rikhotso has commended the members for prompt reaction. Anyone with information is kindly requested to contact the nearest Police Station. Every information will be treated with the strictest confidence.
