“Our Waterworks is currently busy with repairs on the line that supply Roodepan, Jackson, Sunset Manor, Ivory Park, Lerato Park areas with water. Some residents are without water while others are experiencing low pressure. The leakage has been identified and is being attended to. Will provide further updates later. And update from Sello Matsie say residents may not see The Waterworks Department attending to the issue as they are working deep in the veld close to 5 Duk Duk Shanties.

“Pipe bursts in William Gasson St and Cape Town road are currently being repaired. The work is affecting several areas like Monument Height and Royldene up to Northern Cape High school. The work is not expected to be long. The municipality would like to apologise for the inconvenience.” Sello Matsie – Sol Plaatje Municipal Spokesperson

According to Sol Plaatje Municipality they are currently busy working at the Newton Reservoir. This is affecting some parts of New Park and possibly surrounding areas as well.
Areas Affected: Parts of New Park with no water and other areas with low pressure.
Time of Restoration: 1-2 Hours (According to SP Waterworks)
