Reason: The Electrical Department will switch off 66kV feeders and remove a faulty transformer for repair. Eskom will briefly switch off the incomer supply to allow the work.
Duration: 1 hour. 09:00 to 10:00. Power may return earlier.
Substations That Will Be Offline: Galeshewe, Ashburnham, Midlands, and Hall Street
Outage Areas: Galeshewe, Roodepan, Ashburnham, Homevale, Homelite, Homestead, and parts of the CBD
📍Safety notice: Treat all wiring and appliances as live at all times. Switch off sensitive equipment before 09:00.
