Numbers of farmers killing themselves increases in the N Cape – SABC Digital News

The numbers of farmers killing themselves has increased in the Northern Cape. A prolonged drought has financially crippled many farmers. It’s understood the rate of suicides have increased by over ten percent. In 2016 insurance claims increased by 20 percent.
