It appears as though power has been restored in affected areas.

Areas around Albertynshof and New Park are currently without electricity. There is apparently a cable fault and electricians are aware of the issue and attending to it.
Based on reports so far, areas that are affected include Albertynshof, New Park, CBD and possibly other areas too.
PLEASE NOTE: As electricity is off at Newton Reservoir area, this will impact pumping of water from the reservoir and residents fed from the reservoir will experience little to no water pressure.
