“Waterworks is currently working on a 600 mm pipe burst in Waterloo Street. Newton reservoir and Midlands non return valve has been shut. Once the repairs are done supply will be immediately restored. The municipality would regret the inconvenience.”

Sol Plaatje Waterworks are currently busy working on a burst pipe in Waterloo road and have switched off the water at the Newton Reservoir resulting in little to no water in various areas.
Pipe burst at Long Street also reported, Ref No: 126829
No given time as to when it will be restored.
