UPDATE: 21:55 – According to Sol Plaatje Municipality the problem has been resolved and water is being restored.
21:00 Thursday, 19/01/2017 – According to Sol Plaatje Municipality pumps at Newton Reservoir has been switched off to enable the Waterworks Department to attend to a problem at Waterworks. This is causing no water or very low pressure in most areas supplied by Newton Reservoir. They expect to restore the water supply during the course of the evening.
