ALERT: ONE-HOUR NEWTON RESERVOIRS PUMPS SWITCHED-OFF DUE TO TWO LEAKS ON THE PRECINCT ON OUTGOING 35OMM DIAMETER PIPE
Reason for Emergency Switch-Off of Pumps: Urgent repair work to be undertaken on two leaks on 350mm diameter outgoing steel pipe on the Newton Reservoirs precinct.
Action: Waterworks teams are on-site to enforce immediate repair work that is set to last an hour and thirty minutes.
Restoration of Supply – Pumping: Immediately after completion of repair work
Possible Impact: Low water pressure around New Park and other surrounding areas.
