SOL PLAATJE Accounts and Close of Offices

Please be advised that the Sol Plaatje Municipality’s municipal accounts/invoices for December 2015, will be processed earlier, on the 22nd of December 2015.
The above will influence the meter reading period, which will be for a shorter meter consumption period, and will result that the January 2016 municipal accounts/invoice period will be longer. The scenario above will not affect consumers who submit their monthly meter readings and were submitted and captured captured before the 22nd of December 2015.
Closure of Offices
Notice is further given that municipal offices will close at 13:00, tomorrow Thursday, 24th December 2015 and remain closed for the weekend. Next week cashier points will close at 12:00 on Thursday, New Year, Friday 1st January 2016 will be closed including the Saturday 2nd January 2016.
Refuse Removal
Please note that there will be No refuse removal on Friday, the 25th December 2015, Christmas day but the service will be rendered as normal on the 1st January 2016.
