REFUSE COLLECTION UPDATE: 31/10/2019 – 11:00
Refuse is being collected for areas of Thursday 31st October 2019. The different teams will double up to catch up areas not collected starting from Monday. Labour issues are being addressed to resolve what led the dispute apologise for the inconvenience.

Several suburbs have not had their refuse collected, after our employees expressed concerns over certain grievances.
Management has engaged with the affected employees and the matter was also discussed at the formal Local Labour Forum. We apologise for this lack of service delivery and the matter is being resolved. What should be clear is that whatever the concerns, employees have to follow due process and raise such matters in proper structures. The Local Labour Forum has now become operational and these matters will receive our attention.
All uncollected refuse will be attended to and in areas where such was not collected, the teams will work on a double up schedule to catch up with the backlog.
