The contractor started at Adam Nomakola Street and progress in terms of laying a water main for that street is 90%, house connections will be done at a later stage, we have also acknowledged that during the construction process, water interruptions will be experienced, however where disruptions are planned the affected communities will be done prior effecting such disruptions in order to allow affected the public members to make proper arrangements in terms of securing alternative water sources.
In terms of Nobengula Street, cutting of trees is currently underway and excavations for water mains are expected to commence later during this week.
