Update 08:30 28/03/2015: Contrary to the first assessment, huge damage occurred at the substation. A team from the Sol Plaatje Electrical department is still working to get electricity restored, but no estimate time of power restoration can be provided at this time.
27/03/2015: The Botsang substation (in Galeshewe) had a minor explosion. The Electricity is off in the area. Power will be restored after the problem has been isolated and repaired.
