Sol Plaatje Waterworks are apparently busy repairing a pipe at the Newton Reservoir. Due to this, the Newton Reservoir has been switched off.
Residents that are directly fed from the Newton Reservoir will notice little to no water pressure from the taps. No timeframe was given when water will be restored.
