POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION – PARTS OF ROODEPAN
– Affected Areas: Sunset Manor, Old Roodepan, Jacksonville, Erwe, and possibly other surrounding streets.
– Cause: Underground cable fault linked to Roodepan SwitchHouse No 1 located on Midlands Road in vicinity of the Roodepan Cemetery.
– Current Status: Municipality’s electricians repairing fourth joint on low voltage cable fault.
》 Incident: Extensive attempted cable theft on a stretch exceeding 250 metres.

– Current Status: Municipality’s electricians located low voltage cable fault. Repair work is still in progress.
》 Incident: Attempted cable theft, which likely caused burn wounds to the perpetrator.
