Sol Plaatje Municipal after hour emergency repairs may be severely impacted after members of the Waterworks crew was robbed at gunpoint by about 40 gangsters.
The municipal communications manager, Sello Matsie, said in a statement ““If such activities by gangs continue, it places us in a situation where we will only be able to operate during working hours or when there is some security as we cannot place our employees in harm’s way.”
