Latest: Work commenced this morning as scheduled, and the teams are determined to meet the deadline for restoration of the water supply set for 17:00.
* Installation of new valve as part of the Budget Facility for Infrastructure (BFI) at reservoir 91 megalitres is still in progress.
* Repair work on leak in 600 mm diameter pipeline on the Newton Reservoirs Complex is complete. A minor leak is also being attended to.

Pumps Switch-Off: The pumps at Newton Reservoirs will be out of operation on Saturday, 11 April 2026, from 09:00 to 17:00.
