* Investigation into the source of low water pressure to possibly no water supply in parts of Rhodesdene and Carters Glen is ongoing.
LEAK AT RHODES AVENUE AND PICKERING STREET INTERSECTION
* Sol Plaatje Municipality’s Waterworks team and contractors are attending the water leak at Rhodes Avenue and Pickering Street intersection, a severe water loss source.

Good morning, Residents
I am aware that the issue of low to no water pressure is continuing.
Last night, the municipality was working on four burst pipes and, from previous communication, searching for closed valves around Long Street and Rhodesdene.
It does not appear to have resolved the issue.
Having visited the site of the major water leak at the intersection of Rhodes and Pickering, I have suggested to the municipality that they have another look there.

Good morning, Residents
The municipality has brought in a contractor to assist in finding the cause of the leak at the corner of Rhodes and Pickering.
At this stage, there appears to be two leaks at the site, but with the amount of water flowing, it is difficult to determine the cause.
In all likelihood, measures will be implemented to stop the flow of water to the area.
