Notice received from Sol Plaatje Municipality
Kindly be advised that our Water Works Section is currently busy with repairs on the leaking pipeline at Newton Reservoir. The pipe is leaking onto Water Works Street and the repairs can’t be postponed any further as it was intended for a less busy period over the weekend. The interruption is not expected to be long as only a cascade will be installed on the pipe, however we need to temporality cut water supply. Areas to be affected will be New Park, Royldene, Monument Heights, Portion of CBD and other areas supplied via this pipe line.
