In terms of the Road Ordinance 19 of 1976, notice is hereby given that the Bigen Consulting Engineers intends to temporarily close certain roads on 11 and 12 February 2026, from 06:00 AM to 18:00 PM. The temporary closures are to facilitate the Replacement of existing 600 mm AC pipeline with new 355 mm mPVC which will be taking place in the suburb of Rhodesdene.
The following roads, intersections, and junctions:
- Full closure of Pickering Avenue approximately 25–40 meters on both approaches to the Rhodes Avenue intersection.
- Partial closure of Rhodes Avenue with controlled access for residents
- Clearly signed northbound, southbound, eastbound, and westbound diversions
Controlled local access to affected residential streets
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and to exercise caution when traveling in and around the affected areas during the closure period. Bigen Consulting Engineers appreciates your understanding and cooperation.
