Emergency Water Shutdown in Lyndhurst Road, Wednesday 27th May 2015.
“Kindly be advised of an emergency Water Shut Down in Lyndhurst Road as of this morning, Wednesday, 27th May 2015.
This is due to pipe replacements by the Water Works department which is expected to last till this afternoon. The area is currently not safe for both motorists and pedestrians.
Areas to be affected by the temporary water shut down include parts of the CBD, Herlear, Beaconsfield, hospitals and schools supplied from the New Park area pipeline.
Work is currently under-way and we endeavour to keep you informed through the media and social networks on the progress. The municipality wishes to apologise for the inconvenience.”
