Based on water outage reports near Newton Reservoir, it appears as though Newton Reservoir might have been switched off. As of now we have had no communication as to what the actual issue with the water is. Sol Plaatje were busy fixing burst pipes at a sites today and as such could have necessitated the need to switch the reservoir off.
Many areas in Kimberley serviced by Newton Reservoir are experiencing little to no water pressure.
