Waterworks team is still busy on site, the delay was the many cables underground which they avoided to damage. They are now replacing the old pipe with a new one. It will take a few more hours to complete repairs. Closer to completion an update will be sent out.

The Sol Plaatje Municipality would need to close the reservoir for a short period due to work being done at corner George and Waterworks street, there is a burst pipe and the road is closed so repairs can be completed.
Residents will encounter low pressure to no water in their taps.
