Electricity in some areas of Galeshewe is back on while efforts are being made to reconnect the remaining areas.
Meanwhile work to resupply Homevale and Homestead with water is near complete. We had a 315mm pipe burst between homevale and homestead.

Several areas in Galeshewe are currently without electricity due to strong winds that damaged a medium voltage overhead line. Electricians are presently busy with repairs. Last night’s rain made it difficult to conduct repairs. Other areas are also being attended too. We apologise for the inconvenience
