REMINDER: PLANNED WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION ON SATURDAY, 14 FEBRUARY 2026, 05:00 TO 18:00 – A PORTION OF KIMBERLEY SUBURBIA AND PARTS OF GALESHEWE
Reason: One of the contractors working on the Budget Facility for Infrastructure (BFI) water improvement programme is due to complete connecting a newly installed pipe in the Rhodesdene area to the water supply network.
Therefore, please be advised that the water supply will be interrupted as follows:
Time: 05:00 (am) to 18:00
Date: 14 February 2026
Areas that will be affected are:
Galeshewe residential areas – SOUL CITY, CLUB 2000, MADIBA PARK, TLHAGENG, TSWELOPELE CORRECTIONAL CENTRE.
Kimberley Suburbia: RHODES AVENUE and entire VERWOERDPARK.
Residents in the above-mentioned areas are advised to store water for essential use and ensure it would suffice for the specified period.
Your cooperation in the repair and refurbishment of our bulk water supply infrastructure is highly appreciated.
