ALERT: TEMPORARY (ONE-HOUR) POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION TO FOLLOW – HERLEAR SUBSTATION – TODAY, SUNDAY, 30 NOVEMBER 2025 – 11:00 TO 12:00
Eskom will be conducting maintenance on the 66kV circuit breaker at Herlear Substation (one of the two incomers from Eskom).
As a result, all 66kV feeders supplied from Herlear Substation will be temporarily interrupted today, Sunday 30/11/2025 from 11:00 to 12:00 PM.
The affected areas include Herlear, Southridge, Hadison Park, Carters Glen, Rhodesdene, parts of the CBD, and other surrounding areas.
Important Information: Please note that supply may be restored earlier than scheduled, and all electrical equipment should be treated as live during the specified period.
