ESKOM: Stage 3 loadshedding is currently active daily between 00:00 and 16:00, while Stage 4 loadshedding will be implemented daily during the evening peaks from 16:00 until 00:00.

Due to another leak at Mid-Station, water would need to be closed this morning (Tues 27 Sept 2022) at 7am to assess extent of the damage, and to determine if we can effect emergency repairs. This will result in no water or low water pressure in most areas in Kimberley.
🚱PLANNED TEMPORARY WATER SHUTDOWN – 6-10 OCTOBER 2022🚱

Sol Plaatje Municipality will have a planned water interruption on the 6th October until the 10th October 2022. The reason for this interruption is to repair more of the leaks which have a huge impact on water losses

Nightly Water Shutdowns will be re-implemented following a major pipe burst on Saturday, 10 September 2022. This is in order to build up reserves at Newton Reservoir.
Time of Nightly Water Shutdown: 20:00 – 04:00 / 8pm – 4am
