COVID-19 INFO
As of today (26 Sept 2020), the cumulative number of detected COVID-19 cases is 669 498 with 969 cases identified.
The cumulative number of tests conducted to date is 4 128 438 with 11 359 new tests conducted since the last report.
Regrettably, we report 64 more COVID-19 related deaths: 5 from Eastern Cape 4 from KwaZulu-Natal, 43 from Gauteng, 11 from Mpumalanga, and 1 from Western Cape.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 16 376.
We extend our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the healthcare workers that treated the deceased patients.
Our recoveries now stand at 601 818 which translates to a recovery rate of 89,9%
NORTHERN CAPE COVID-19 STATISTICS AS AT 26 SEPTEMBER 2020
The Minister of Health announced an additional 119 people testing positive for COVID-19 in the Northern Cape, bringing the cumulative total to 16 065 people.
There are 4 people to be reallocated to other provinces. The number of recoveries currently stands at 13 167 which translates to a recovery rate of 83%.
