COVID-19 INFO

As of today (20 Dec 2020), the cumulative number of cases stands at 921 922.
A cumulative total of 6 140 839 tests have been completed with 40 466 new tests conducted since the last report.
Regrettably, 152 more COVID-19 related deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 105 , Free State 5, Gauteng 1, Kwa-Zulu Natal 8, Mpumalanga 3 and Western Cape 30.
This brings the total to 24 691 deaths.
We convey our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health workers that treated the deceased.
Our recoveries now stand at 793 914.
NORTHERN CAPE COVID-19 STATISTICS AS AT 20 DECEMBER 2020
The Minister of Health announced an additional 59 people testing positive for COVID-19 in the Northern Cape, bringing the cumulative total to 24 164 people.
There are no new COVID-19 related deaths reported in the last 48 hours. The Province total cumulative deaths is standing at 372 since last report.
The number of recoveries stands at 21 784 with recovery rate of 90%.
