Feedback given by Sol Plaatje Municipality states they have switched off at Newton Reservoir and that it should be switched on “shortly”.

UPDATE: 25 FEBRUARY 2022 – 11:00
Residents of various suburbs have been reporting little to no water pressure since about 11:00 this morning (Fri, 25 Feb 2022). Based on which areas were affected, we can only assume that the Newton Reservoir was probably switched off to conduct repairs somewhere.
At this stage there is no communication or info from Sol Plaatje Municipality on what the issue is yet.
Areas Affected: Various areas.
Time of Restoration: Unknown at this stage.
All infrastructure related faults and problems must be reported via the Sol Plaatje Municipality Infrastructure Call Centre.
