DEAR NOCCI MEMBERS
I would like to report back on a meeting I had yesterday afternoon 11 Sep. I fully understand the Frustration, Anger etc. from Business and the Community. But at this moment throwing stones and lashing out is not going to solve our problem, so I am asking if we can all stand together and help me to help Sol Plaatje. We can get to the bottom of the problem by all assisting.
Please if anyone knows of any leaks, burst pipes, low pressure etc. to report it to the following No (053) 830 6111 and request a Ref No. If after a day you have had NO response please email or sms me the Ref No and date reported.
Members also please DO NOT call the Engineers or Councillors as they are trying their utmost to resolve the issue and all the calls they are receiving disrupts their work.
We are NOT GETTING Communication from Sol Plaatje as to when the water is going to be switched off and what areas are without water which is to the detriment to Business and Tourism. I have once again requested from them to just send me a short detailed message just to give you all a warning to prepare.
But once again I am requesting PLEASE LET US STAND TOGETHER and report all the issues to the No given above and the water we do have use sparingly otherwise we may have NO WATER AT ALL. I am still waiting correspondence from Sello Matsie as to when the water will be switched off once I receive that I will forward it to all concerned.
