UPDATE: 12 JANUARY 2023 – 14:02
There is a delay in the restoration of power in Galeshewe due to the prior Load shedding which occurred earlier this morning. The electricians are currently continuing with the repairs and residents are urged to treat all electricals as “live” and to switch off all appliances to avoid power overload once power comes on.

The entire Galeshewe is off due to the Five April 11kV feeder cable ends that blew off.
Galeshewe substation is currently off and repairs are in progress.
