Calitz family’s wall hit again

A young driver with apparently only a learners licence crashed into the will of the Calitz families home on Meyer Street early Friday evening. This is the third time in the last year that the Calitz families boundary wall was damaged by an out of control vehicle, and the second time it happened on Mr Calitz’s birthday. Last year on Mr Calitz birthday a young man with a yellow Atos crashed into the wall.

Reports indicate that the driver was coming from the direction of waterworks street at high speed and lost control in corner in front of Mr Calitz house.

Mr Calitz, asked the owner of the Kia not to remove the vehicle until he was compensated for the damage to the wall.

Update: 2013/07/28 18:00

By Sunday the tyres and parts of the sound system were stolen from the vehicle.
