Widespread Electricity Outage in Kimberley – 13/02/2018

11:13 – Via Sol Plaatje: Current Power Failure: parts of City and Galeshewe. 

There is a possible 66kV trip at HA Morris Substation.Electricity team out to investigate. We apologise for the inconvenience.

11:06 – Via NOCCI: Spm officials out to determine why the electricity tripped between 6 substations. Still awaiting outcome

10:50 13/02/18 – Electricity is off in large parts of Kimberley including, Galeshewe, West End, Diamant Park, Carters Glen, Lindene, Roodepan and other areas. The Sol Plaatje Electrical Department is investigating.  Updates will be posted here when available.
