The Municipality’s waterworks section is working on a damaged fire hydrant. We have switched off Newton Reservoir for a short period to allow waterworks to effect repairs.
Once the fire hydrant has been replaced, water will be restored to affected areas.
Residents that are being directly fed from the Newton Reservoir (CBD) will notice low pressure to no water from their taps.
