UPDATE: WATER SUPPLY RESTORED IN CBD AND SURROUNDING SUBURBIA AMID BURST PIPE NEAR STAR OF THE WEST
》The Sol Plaatje Municipality’s Waterworks has completed repair work on a burst pipe in Tucker Street leading to the intersection at North Circular (Star Of The West).
》Pumps at the Newton Reservoirs are back in operation and tap pressure flow is expected to be normal to high at this hour.
》Tucker Street has been reopened for traffic.

ALERT: TEMPORARY WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION IN HIGH-LYING AREAS
》The Sol Plaatje Municipality’s Waterworks is repairing a burst pipe in North Circular Road near Star Of The West, prompting a switch-off of the pumps at the Newton Reservoirs.
》Residents in Kimberley’s CBD and surrounding suburbia are likely to experience low pressure to no water supply.
