⚠️UPDATE 3: TEMPORARY WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION – EMERGENCY REPAIRS ON 900 MM DIAMETER BULK PIPELINE NEAR SOUL CITY NEARLY COMPLETE
🚧 Welding on 900 mm pipeline near Soul City is nearly complete.
💦🚰Water supply will be restored ahead of 21:00.
Pumps at Newton and Riverton will then be switched on — lines will fill gradually.
We apologise for the inconvenience and delay — the pipeline had to be emptied.

⚠️ TEMPORARY WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION – EMERGENCY REPAIRS ON 900mm BULK PIPELINE NEAR SOUL CITY
🚧💧Sol Plaatje Municipality hereby notifies residents of a temporary water supply interruption due to emergency repairs on a major leak on the 900 mm diameter bulk pipeline along the R31, near Soul City.
To enable the repairs, pumps at the Newton Reservoir Complex and the Riverton Water Treatment Plant will be switched off.
📍Impact: Low water pressure to no water supply should be expected in large parts of Kimberley.
Estimated Repair Duration: Four (4) hours.
