UPDATE:  04 JUNE 2026 – 06:18

There is a widespread power outage affecting many areas across Wards 21,25 and 28, ie. Beaconsfield, Herlear, parts of Klisserville, and possibly Greenside as well.

Beaconsfield is without power supply for a prolonged period of time due to vandalism of an Electrical Pillar Box by CRIMINALS!!
The complaint was logged at 00h03 Tuesday morning 2 June 2026, which means residents and businesses have been without power supply for 55 hours already.

All the efforts by the Electrical Teams working at a breakneck pace to restore power supply are highly appreciated.

A friendly request is to keep the Communication’s Officer updated in order for Councillors to give regular feedback to the affected areas.
Some businesses cannot function and have incurred extreme financial losses.

Urgent feedback will be appreciated please.
