Asteroid 2 Pallas will be well placed for observation, lying in the constellation Bootes, well above the horizon for much of the night. Regardless of your location on the Earth, 2 Pallas will reach its highest point in the sky at around midnight local time.

From Kimberley, it will be visible between 21:52 and 04:52. It will become accessible at around 21:52, when it rises 21° above your north-eastern horizon, and then reach its highest point in the sky at 01:24, 44° above your northern horizon. It will become inaccessible at around 04:52 when it sinks to 22° above your north-western horizon.

KIMBERLEY NIGHTLY WATER SHUTDOWN SHORTENED

Nightly water shutdown shortened from 6pm – 4am to 8pm to 4am.
According  to a statement from Sello Matsie, the Sol Plaatje Municipality Spokesperson, water will be shut off from 8pm and switched back on at 4am as of Monday, 18 February 2019. 

LOADSHEDDING RISK: According to Eskom, no anticipated loadshedding is expected this week.
