ESKOM: Stage 5 loadshedding is currently active and will continue to be implemented until 05:00 on Saturday morning (24 Sept 2022). Eskom will publish a full statement on Friday afternoon with regards to the rest of the weekend and for next week.

Sol Plaatje Municipality will have a planned water interruption on the 6th October until the 10th October 2022. The reason for this interruption is to repair more of the leaks which have a huge impact on water losses

Nightly Water Shutdowns will be re-implemented following a major pipe burst on Saturday, 10 September 2022. This is in order to build up reserves at Newton Reservoir.
Time of Nightly Water Shutdown: 20:00 – 04:00 / 8pm – 4am
