Kimberley Northern Cape – The Kimberley SAPS Flash unit is requesting the applicants of firearm licences to pick up unclaimed firearm licenses and competency certificates at the Police Station in Phakamile Mabija Road. Some of the unclaimed licence cards and certificates is dating back to 2012.

NORTHERN CAPE – The Firearm, Liquor and Second Hand Goods (FLASH) Unit at the Kimberley SAPS is requesting applicants of firearm licences and competency certificates to please collect it at the Kimberley Police Station in Phakamile Mabija Road. Although notifications have been given to applicants some of these applications date back to 2012 up to 2017.
Firearm owners are reminded that the possession of a firearm without a valid license is a criminal offence. Applicants must also note that the renewal of a firearm license must be done 90 days before the expiry date of the license.
All enquiries can be forwarded to the Kimberley SAPS FLASH Unit at 053 838 4334/4343/4450.
Collection can be done during the week between 07:30 and 16:00.
