Cop on road to recovery after Kimberley CBD shoot-out

Kimberley – The member of the SAPS who was seriously injured during a shooting in the Kimberley CBD, which left two officers along with a former policeman fatally wounded, is recovering well in the Gariep Mediclinic.

Communication officer for the hospital group, Denise Coetzee, confirmed on Tuesday that Sergeant Oaribile Boyise, 36, is currently in a stable and satisfactory condition following the incident which left him fighting for his life in in the intensive care unit.
