West Circular Road Closure on 13 -16 February 2014

Motorists and other road users are hereby given advance notification of a temporary road closure to accommodate the installation of underground storm water pipe network on West Circular Road, scheduled from Thursday 13 February to 15 February 2014.
Closure of west Circular Road, between St Augustine Street and North Circular Street in both directions will be implemented from 09:00 on Thursday 13 February 2014 and removed on Sunday, 16 February 2014. Only motorists travelling to the Protea Hotel, the Convention Centre, Guest House and The Big Hole will be allowed entrance during this period.
All other motorists are advised to use St Augustine, Waterloo, and North Circular Streets as alternative routes. Traffic officials will be at hand during peak hours to assist in the channelling of traffic to alternatives routes. The Sol Plaatje Municipality would like to apologise for the inconvenience due to this temporary road closure.
