The construction company which has completed their section of the 355mm in Rhodes Avenue, Rhodesdene, is currently clearing away the excess sand and rock.
Rhodes, between the two entrances to Zambesi, is currently closed.
Residents of Buster Bowden and Elizabeth Roux can get access through Bulawayo, other residents can use Zambesi for now.

UPDATE: 17 OCTOBER 2025 – 08:00
The contractor working on the Carters Glen section of the new 355mm pipeline needs to close a small section of Rhodes Avenue today.
Rhodes, from the intersection of Drakensberg until the intersection of Swartberg, will be closed to all traffic except for the few residents living in that section.
Residents can use the small detour through Maluti Street, or down Drakensberg to Marlene Street.
