ALERT: POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION – PARTS OF KIMBERLEY SUBURBIA
– Affected Areas: Large parts of high-lying areas, including residential areas – New Hillcrest, Hillcrest, Newpark, Rhodesdene, El Toro Park, Lindene, Diamant Park 2, Verwoerd Park, Kirstenhof, Minerva Gardens, Labram, Hadison Park, Carters Glen, Kestelhof – supplied by Hadison Park Substation.
– Possible Cause: 66kV trip between MacDougall, Hadison Park, and Carters Glen substations.
– Current Status: Municipality’s electricians are investigating the issue.
We plead for patience while the issue is being attended to.
PLEASE NOTE: As New Park is also affected, Newton Reservoir will also be off and little to no water pressure will be expected as a result.
