Afternoon & Nightly Water Interruptions – UPDATE 17 December 2024, 18:00

Daily production has been at a steady 102 megaliters over the last five (5) days. Despite a slight improvement of the current water levels, the daytime and nightly water supply interruptions will continue.
An assessment will be undertaken on Sunday 22 December 2024, for a possible withdrawal of the Daytime Water Supply Interruption.
Daytime: 12:00 to 17:00
Nightly: 21:00 to 04:00
SMART PREPAID ELECTRICITY METER ROLL-OUT

Sol Plaatje Local Municipality is the proud beneficiary of a National Treasury grant that will enable the roll-out of smart prepaid electricity meters. The grant will enable the Municipality to continue with its modernisation project. Through this Project the municipality will roll-out prepaid smart electricity meters in various areas.
