The Municipality is aware that residents that get their electricity from Hadison park is still off. Our electricians are on site and are still locating the fault on the transformers, and they have alerted the Testing section to assist with regards to the fault. This will also have an effect on the Newton Reservoir.
We will update you on progress as soon as they have an updated report regarding the fault.

PLEASE NOTE: Newton Reservoir is also affected by the above mentioned power outage and therefore many areas will experience little to no water pressure.

At around 4am, the power went off in areas including, but no limited to, Carters Glen, Rhodesdene, Hadison Park, New Park, and Verwoerdpark.
I have spoken to the municipality, and they are aware of the problem. The electrical department is working on the issue.
